Finally, I finished my pants! Well, I’m happy with the outcome and it was a long time coming. I actually could have finished these like two weeks ago, but apparently me and the embroidery machine have been having a little affair (insert shocked face)! These pants are a wearable muslin, I like wearables because like I’ve said before, I like to wear a garment to work, sit down and stand up to get a good idea of my adjustments. Yaaasss to the pattern matching! So, I LOVE THIS DRESS. Well, actually I wear it as a duster , I like it better because of the all over print. I mean I toiled with this dress and then when I got the front matched up, oh snap the bottom print doesn’t match (insert eye roll). I was like, you know what, I already playing fabric Tetris, I know how to match patterns, so I’m good! April Round-Up All the tops
Hi! Soo, I’ve made a few tops lately and I’ve posted them to Instagram, why? I was on vacation and in vacation prep mode and I forgot to write my blog posts. I’m back from vacation and trying to catch up. I got to see a sew friend while in Barbados and she took me to the fabric stores! How cool is that? I only purchased a piece of Ankara that my husband has taken for himself, guess I’ll be making him a tunic, sooner, rather than later. The belt really added a nice modern touch to the dress, animal print shoes, yes! I’ve had this dress made for like two weeks and didn’t get any photos taken. I’m usually not busy on the weekends, but these last few have been busy and I didn’t get my photos taken.
