DIY Faux jumpsuit + Burda 6218
Who doesn’t love a jumpsuit or better yet a faux jumpsuit? Separates are great because they stretch your wardrobe and allow for lots of different looks. This color is great and the pictures aren’t doing it any justice. I pretreated the fabric using Dryel, I have a little bit left and I’m going to wash and dry to see how it does. Simplicity 1279 Button up shirt (photos)
So, I was trying a thing where I didn’t take photos of my makes, but I would use my dress form. Why you ask?, well, I don’t want to have to “put my face on” lol, Ok, I said it, pure D Lazy! April Round-Up All the tops
Hi! Soo, I’ve made a few tops lately and I’ve posted them to Instagram, why? I was on vacation and in vacation prep mode and I forgot to write my blog posts. I’m back from vacation and trying to catch up. I got to see a sew friend while in Barbados and she took me to the fabric stores! How cool is that? As a part of my monthly sewing, I scope out a bunch of challenges on Facebook and Instagram. For this month, I’ve looked to Pinterest for inspiration for the Sew Much Talent Facebook Group and That Sew Monica’s sew your view challenges. Between Facebook and Instagram, I’m always challenged and inspired to make something. I chose this look because it’s much different than anything I’ve sewn and or worn. Hi there! This is the last garment of the year for me so I thought, why not make it twice? This pattern was picked as a part of an Instagram monthly challenge #Sewyourview with @thatsewmonica and @feesewcrafty. Hi there! Well, I’m coming to you with another pattern review. I sewed up Simplicity 8344, this is an Ashley Nell Tipton pattern, if you don’t know who she is, she won Project Runway, the only plus sized designer to do so.
