DIY Tunic Dress Vogue 9159

OMG, this dress is from last month and it never got photographed!  I had every intention of writing a Valentines day post with all these options to include what I was going to wear, clearly that didn’t happen!  I’m sorry, I really don’t know what happened with that, planning consumes me and I was knee deep in planning for the Day and Night dress challenge and some other projects.  The weather wasn’t that great so I’m working on getting an area in the house to take pictures at any time of the day.

.

This is a cute dress perfect for a night out on the town.  One of the recommended fabrics is ITY knit, no sure how I would like the tunic in ITY but maybe I’ll try it.  I also didn’t have good luck with the V neck, I need to work on that!  Why do all of my V necks look like a “U”? smh!  I try, but I cant really see to pivot the needle, I need to find a good technique, can you help???

Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?

I like the shaped waist and hip seams, I like the slit on the side and the V-Neck.  No real dislikes.
Fabric Used:
Fax leather knit
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:

I lowered the split four inches and graded the bust waist and hip up to a size 24.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I don’t know, I may make the tunic, but I don’t know how many of these I will need.

What is your favorite V-Neck technique/ tutorial?
