This is a quick post to show you my new tunic. I really like this pattern, I’m not sure if it’s the great shaping from the princess seams or what, but I like it! I have one more in the plans and I hope to get it done soon! I want to try my hand at adding some trim and maybe even a 3/4 sleeve. I reviewed this top here and here. April Round-Up All the tops
Hi! Soo, I’ve made a few tops lately and I’ve posted them to Instagram, why? I was on vacation and in vacation prep mode and I forgot to write my blog posts. I’m back from vacation and trying to catch up. I got to see a sew friend while in Barbados and she took me to the fabric stores! How cool is that? I only purchased a piece of Ankara that my husband has taken for himself, guess I’ll be making him a tunic, sooner, rather than later. Pattern Review: S1461 + The floral princess
Picking the right floral print can be tricky for me sometimes. Do I want a large print or small, do I want realistic looking flowers or no? The options are endless, but very common for spring and summer. One of my pet peeves is fit, and I love tunics because they are comfy, but sometimes you can step over into “ill fitted”.
