Sewing round up March-19 Ediition
Well, I’ve been busy! I’ve sewn a few things over the last week or sew, but most of these item’s I’ve sewn before and one was a TNT so it really didn’t take long to make this weeks garments. I typically do not have time to sew this many things (did I neglect something else?), probably! The boss politely reminded me that we have to finish our taxes. I’m a reformed tax accountant that hates doing her own taxes! I know I have to pay, so it can wait till whenever (not really whenever, because I don’t do penalties) but you know what I mean! Pattern Remakes- October Edition
One of my goals has been to go back through my “wearable muslins” and remake them. What’s a muslin and when should you do one? Check this blog post out from Tilly and the Buttons. I spend quite a bit of time making adjustments and it seems like such a waste to only make them once. In comes the pattern round up, I’m going to consolidate all my remakes from Instagram, Facebook and my camera roll. Pattern Review: Blackwood Cardigan- Wearable Muslin
It’s fall and I’m looking to replace my worn out cardigans from last season. I’m not sure, but many of my cardigans look a little beat up these days. I actually wear cardigans all year long because I work indoors and the A/C is always on Arctic so mine need to be replaced more often! I wanted to try something new, as if I needed another pattern, right? So I picked the Blackwood cardigan up during a sale.
