Pattern Review: Sorbetto by Colette + On the bandwagon+Revamp
This pattern is sort of a rite of passage for sewist. I tried it to see for myself what the fuss is/was about and I must admit, it’s a keeper! I don’t know if I would say it’s a “TNT” pattern, but it’s free and it’s a tank so what’s there not to like? This is my second go round, my first go round with the Sorbetto was a disaster. When I get frustrated with a pattern, I try and step away and work on something else to boost my confidence. I’m working on a dress that has princess seams and I need to do a FBA. I did a muslin, tissue fit and all, and it’s still wonky. While in one of my Facebook sewing groups, someone posted a link to this free pattern.
