Pattern Review: New Look 6514-The Robe of Many Colors
I hadn’t participated in the #sewyourview challenge on Instagram in a while so I decided to put to use some cute fabric in my stash to use. I also wanted something fun and different to wear for my birthday so it was a twofer! That feels weird to say, I don’t have a large stash so, to shop in it was a good feeling. I originally made the longer view and in the fabric, it looked like a priestly robe. I did a poll and everyone voted to cut it and I agreed. Pattern Review: New Look 6519 + Tie front
I haven’t blogged much in August because I’ve remade some pattern’s that I’ve reviewed before. I’m super lazy and well, I didn’t want to waist a blog post on remakes, but I think I will try and highlight them in a post sometime during the month. I think Instagram and Facebook are culprits in my non existent blog posts, they make it easy to snap a picture and post, blogging takes more time, and did I say I’m lazy? Pattern Review: New Look 6507 + the fail dress turned top
I whined and complained on Facebook about how this turned out and after it’s all said and done, I didn’t adjust this pattern properly. I wanted it done and I didn’t really pay attention to the issues I was having, lesson learned. This is a basic pattern and I should have taken a little more time to figure out how and where I needed to make changes.
