Pattern Review: Butterick 5466 + My first ever garment & Craftsy class
I looked through my closet for something me made to wear today and I stumbled upon this skirt. Oh, the nostalgia of my first ever skirt! I took a Craftsy class and really, really enjoyed being walked through each step of the process. I’ve made another in a different view and I will show pictures when I can get them taken. I’d have to say that this skirt is my “TNT” skirt pattern because it’s my first and it’s so very basic. I’ve made the high waisted pencil skirt and this skirt. I’ve been eyeing this pattern for a while, so when one of my Facebook groups chose it as a sew along, I was happy. As a beginner I almost didn’t sew this up, because I had to do an FBA on princess seams, which I’ve never done and line a bodice.
